The Engineering Products Division caters to the requirements of the operating companies and their EPC contractors in terms of equipment and this division is branched out in three departments: Mechanical & Process, Electrical and Control Instrumentation & Safety.

Mechanical & Process

The market for long-lead-time oil & gas equipment - such as generators, compressors, vessels, towers and exchangers - is very tight with extended delivery times and premium pricing. Quality control requirements and local content rules also constrain the supply market. 

Mechanical & Process division is a major player in the supply of equipment covering rotating equipment, generators, process equipment, piping and valves. It has a solid repute in the field of multi-phase pumps, centrifugal pumps, reciprocating pumps and cryogenic pumps, in addition to compressor packages, air & gas reciprocating and centrifugal compressors. The division serves the power generation segment's growing needs for land-based and marine type gas turbines from 50 KW to 60 MW capacities in stand-by as well as continuous mode operations. Combined heat recovery and power plants are widely being used to achieve higher efficiency and productivity. Among process equipment being marketed are gas dehydration packages, gas treatment and sweetening systems, meeting systems, etc. Flare systems offered are state of the art with patented igniter systems for continuous flaring. 

Electrical, Control & Instrumentation 

The division has consistently supplied state-of-the-art technologies in various control and automation systems with a high success rate and has a major market share in the UAE. It has expertise in the marketing of complete turnkey solutions for tank terminal automation and loading for tank farm applications. It offers cutting edge technology solutions on pipeline SCADA required on major pipeline or multi-product transportation systems, in addition to emergency shut-down systems and fire and gas systems, where the division represents one of the prime manufacturers well known in the European and Middle East markets. The division's capability lies in offering complete turnkey solutions for fire detection and protection systems. Unmanned remote sensing and operating devices have been developed successfully in offering fire, smoke and heat detection and subsequently raising alarm and fire protection.
