EMDAD introduces CNPC (JCCC) to Abu Dhabi and the region
In the wake of its significant advancements towards expansion and diversification in the region, EMDAD LLC has added yet another feather to its cap with the signing of its new alliance with China Petroleum Jilin Chemical Engineering & Construction Co., Ltd. The agreement was signed in Abu Dhabi on 29 October in presence of Mr. Alami representing EMDAD LLC andMr. Guan Yizhou and Yang Boacai representing the Chinese company.
CNPC (JCCC) is a major Chemical Engineering, Petroleum and Construction Corporation, belonging to the China Petroleum & Natural Gas Group Company. Formerly under the China Chemical Industry Ministry, which was established in 1950, the company has earned the repute as “The Primary Force in Chinese Chemical Engineering & Construction.” It is a large-scale integrated company that has handled many major contracts related to chemical engineering and construction and is one of the pioneers in this sector in China. In November 2000, the corporation was transformed into a joint-stock company (JCCC) with RMB 165 million as the registered capital. In July 2003, JCCC issued the initial stock and was listed in Shanghai Stock Exchange becoming the first public equity-based company in chemical engineering and petroleum construction sector in China. The alliance between EMDAD and CNPC is targeting Oil & Gas projects under bidding as well as projects already on the anvil.
