Overview

 

The Own Risk Services value stream delivered by the Projects & Services and Drilling & Production divisions spearheaded the major diversification of EMDAD into delivering various services to its customers through the establishment of several Joint Ventures, and acquisitions. EMDAD services capabilities deliver Total In-house Solutions to our customers in the fields of:

  • Cathodic Protection on Wellhead, with more than 180 systems installed and 200 others awarded for 2011 and 2012, in addition to the Maintenance and Monitoring services we are delivering in all Abu Dhabi onshore oilfields
  • Off grid PV Solar Panel design, installation and commissioning in remote areas with services closely delivered with our Cathodic Protection capabilities and regionally to Solar System suppliers for projects in the UAE, and regionally in the MENA region
  • Oil Based Mud Cuttings and Sludge treatment, where EMDAD is proudly holding the only operating reference in the GCC with 25,000 tons capacity treated every year to the worldwide lowest cleanup level of below 0.1% (less than 1000 TPH)
  • Liquid Mud Plant Build Own Operate solution in close connection with our OBM waste treatment activities establishes our OBM recycling and reconditioning capabilities
  • Cuttings Re-injection and Solid Control equipment rental and operation with the technical support of leading international partners
  • Whipstock systems and services with hydraulic packer (permanent/ retrievable) for one trip window exit operation with our partner Sib Trade Services "STS". Established in 2008, it holds today a 70% market share of all Abu Dhabi Onshore whipstock activities.
